Who are we?
This is a continuous and collaborative project
Elections are not just about divisive politics. Elections capture human behavior to varying degrees, including citizen needs, wants, and a vehicle to express their voices. I have always held an interest in how elections work, their outcomes, and the conclusions we can draw from them. Because I am in no means an expert, through this interest, I have found that global election information (especially in non-English speaking countries) is scattered across the internet and non-internet media, with in some cases, almost no information existing. So I thought: what if all that information was in one place with an easy to use interactive map?
As the title says, this is a continuous and collaborative project. I invite readers to offer information to support it, whether you are from another country or just have an interest in a particular country. I will be more than happy to discuss, analyze, and add new information or information I might have missed, so long as evidence-based sources are used. This is also a very intensive project, so I have no timetable when I will be able to reach all 195 countries.
Happy researching. Let’s make it to 195 countries!
